Thank you so much for your support. With your help we were able to afford the $400 a day overnight nursing coverage that was needed for our son prior to having his trach removed. While we weren't able to afford a nurse every night, we were able to get a rest a few nights each week. Your donations made that possible and we can't thank you enough.

Over the summer, our little man had a full airway reconstruction in Boston and spent two weeks in the hospital recovering. After three months of at-home recovery, and many follow-up visits to Boston, his trach was removed at the end of October. We're thankful to now hear little noises, laughter, and other sounds as he discovers how to use his voice. He has some excellent therapists working with him, including an outstanding speech therapist and we look forward to his first words soon.
